b1 Example

B1 Example is a project supported by the Boston Public Health Commission Division of Violence Prevention & Office of Communications. The campaign launched on June 16th at Artists for Humanity.

B1Example's mission is for the youth of the city to show positive actions and behaviors that will prevent violence while encouraging their peers to do the same and become an example of positive behaviors... in other words, B1 Example.

b1Example is to help our youth redefine the meaning of “street cred”, and to learn how to earn respect the right way.
- B1 Example goal is to encourage responsibility to the young members in our communities that look to us to pave the way. B1 Example and be proud.

Without hesitation, The DON family came by to show support. Also, Janika B was kind enough to rock a DON tshirt while performing her song 'With Or Without' (which can be found on: www.TheDONmusic.com)

Other supporters in attendance include Boston's street workers, Mayor Menino, KarmaLoop's CEO Greg Selkoe, Russell Ferguson (winner of "So You Think You Can Dance") and many more.
